Charlotte's summer event calendar keeps delivering — and this week might be the most stacked yet. Friday night brings Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner to the amphitheater for one of the best classic rock double bills of the year, while Sunday closes with Shinedown, Coheed and Cambria, and Skillet at the Spectrum Center for an arena-rock blowout. Soccer fans get a midweek rivalry match as Charlotte FC hosts Atlanta United on Wednesday, and food lovers have the Charlotte Peruvian Festival on Saturday at Victoria Yards. Ryan Adams brings his Heartbreaker \'25 World Tour to the intimate Knight Theater on Wednesday, Whiskey Myers delivers Texas country-rock to Skyla Amphitheatre on Thursday, and the Charlotte Knights are home all week with Friday fireworks and Sunday afternoon baseball. Add in farmers markets overflowing with peak-season produce — the Charlotte Regional is hosting a SNAP/EBT Double Bucks event this Saturday — and you've got one of the best weeks of the Charlotte summer.

Charlotte Knights vs. Norfolk Tides — Thirsty Thursday

The Knights kick off a six-game homestand against the Norfolk Tides with Thirsty Thursday — dollar drafts and live entertainment between innings. Minor league baseball at its most fun. Affordable tickets, craft beer, and a relaxed Uptown atmosphere. The homestand runs through Sunday.
Ryan Adams — Heartbreaker '25 World Tour
Knight Theater — 430 S Tryon St, Uptown
Ryan Adams brings his Heartbreaker '25 World Tour to Charlotte, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his landmark debut album. Expect deep cuts and fan favorites spanning his career from Whiskeytown through his solo catalog. An intimate evening at Knight Theater — one of the best-sounding rooms in the city.

Texas country-rock outfit Whiskey Myers bring their rowdy, Southern-rock-infused live show to Charlotte with Josh Meloy and The Droptines. Known for their intense live performances and genre-blending sound, Whiskey Myers have built one of the most dedicated fan bases in independent country music. Lawn tickets from around $35.
Lynyrd Skynyrd x Foreigner — Double Trouble Double Vision Tour
Truliant Amphitheater — 707 Pavilion Blvd, University City
Two Southern rock and arena-rock legends share the stage for a can't-miss double bill. Lynyrd Skynyrd delivers "Sweet Home Alabama," "Free Bird," and the classics, while Foreigner brings "Juke Box Hero," "Hot Blooded," "I Want to Know What Love Is," and more. Charlotte FC vs. Atlanta United FC
Bank of America Stadium — 800 S Mint St, Uptown
Charlotte FC hosts Atlanta United in a midweek MLS showdown at Bank of America Stadium. The atmosphere at CLTFC matches is electric — the supporter sections bring drums, flags, and nonstop energy. A huge Eastern Conference rivalry match. Tickets available through Ticketmaster.
Charlotte Peruvian Festival
Victoria Yards — 2100 N Tryon St, Uptown
Celebrate Peruvian culture with live music, traditional dancing, authentic cuisine, and family-friendly activities at Victoria Yards. Fetty Wap
The Fillmore Charlotte — 820 Hamilton St, AvidXchange Music Factory
Fetty Wap brings his catalog of hits — "Trap Queen," "679," "My Way" — to The Fillmore for a high-energy Saturday night show. The New Jersey rapper's melodic style helped define a generation of hip-hop. An excellent venue for experiencing his catalog live.

Shinedown, Coheed and Cambria & Skillet
Spectrum Center — 333 E Trade St, Uptown
Three massive rock acts converge on the Spectrum Center for one epic night. Shinedown headlines with hits like "Second Chance," "Sound of Madness," and "Simple Man." Coheed and Cambria bring their progressive rock concept albums to life, and Skillet closes out the undercard with arena-sized anthems. One of the biggest rock lineups of the summer.
Charlotte Knights vs. Norfolk Tides — Saturday Night

Saturday night minor league baseball under the lights. The Knights continue their homestand against the Tides with a festive atmosphere, craft beer options, and the intimate Truist Field experience. Post-game fireworks expected.
Charlotte Peruvian Festival
Victoria Yards — 2100 N Tryon St, Uptown
A full-day celebration of Peruvian culture with food, music, dancing, and family activities in the Uptown area. Free admission.

If you haven't been to a Charlotte FC match yet, this is the week. The atmosphere at Bank of America Stadium is electric — drums, tifos, nonstop chanting. And the Atlanta rivalry adds extra intensity. Great seats still available.
Charlotte Peruvian Festival (Saturday, July 25)
One of Uptown's best cultural festivals — the food alone is worth the trip. Ceviche, lomo saltado, anticuchos, and pisco sours paired with live music and traditional Peruvian dancing. A full day of flavor and culture.
