Charlotte is coming off a massive Independence Day week, and there's no slowing down. This might be the most stacked concert week of 2026 — AC/DC at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday is the headliner, but J. Cole's two-night Spectrum Center residency and the Santana & Doobie Brothers co-headlining tour at Truliant Amphitheater make this a week where music fans will be spoiled for choice. Beyond the big shows, Uptown Live closes out its summer run on Thursday, the Knights are home all week with Friday fireworks, and Camp North End screens "Hamilton" outdoors for free. Whether you're a rock fan, hip-hop head, jazz lover, or looking for a family-friendly evening, this week delivers.

Charlotte Knights vs. Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp

The Charlotte Knights return home for a midweek series against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Marlins affiliate). Minor league baseball under the lights in Uptown is one of the best cheap date nights in Charlotte — affordable tickets, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Dracula, A Comedy of Errors — Opening Night

Actor's Theatre opens its summer production of "Dracula, A Comedy of Errors" — a hilarious reimagining of the classic Bram Stoker tale that blends horror with slapstick comedy. The show runs through August 9, and opening week performances are expected to sell out. Tickets start around $30.
Santana & The Doobie Brothers — Oneness Tour

Crossroads Cinema: Hamilton (Free Outdoor Movie)

J. Cole: The Fall-Off Tour

Fayetteville's own J. Cole brings The Fall-Off Tour to the Spectrum Center for the first of two Charlotte nights. The 50+ city arena tour supports his latest album and is one of the hottest concert tickets in the country this summer. Cole's Charlotte shows are personal — expect hometown energy. Peter White — Live Jazz
Middle C Jazz Club — 300 S Tryon St, Uptown
Legendary jazz guitarist Peter White brings his signature smooth, melodic style to Middle C Jazz for two intimate shows. White has been one of the most beloved figures in contemporary jazz for over four decades. A sophisticated Friday evening out in Uptown. Tickets from around $112.

Two titans of the jam band scene share the stage at The Fillmore for a night of extended jams, improvisation, and genre-bending rock. Both bands have devoted fan bases and legendary live reputations. This is the kind of show where no two performances are ever the same.
Charlotte Knights — Fireworks Friday

The Knights host their weekly Friday night fireworks show following the game. It's become one of the most reliable summer traditions in Uptown — affordable family entertainment capped off by a pyrotechnics display over the skyline. Grab tickets and stay for the show.

AC/DC: Power Up Tour
Bank of America Stadium — 800 S Mint St, Uptown
One of the biggest stadium shows of the summer hits Charlotte as AC/DC brings their Power Up Tour to Bank of America Stadium. The legendary rockers are back with a massive production featuring hits spanning five decades — "Back in Black," "Thunderstruck," "Highway to Hell," and more. Special guest The Pretty Reckless. This will be one of the loudest nights of the year in Charlotte. Tickets available through Ticketmaster.
J. Cole: The Fall-Off Tour — Night 2
Spectrum Center — 333 E Trade St, Uptown
J. Cole's second consecutive night at the Spectrum Center gives fans who missed Friday's show another chance. Two Charlotte dates on one tour underscores Cole's connection to the region — he attended St. Augustine's University in Raleigh and has deep roots in the Carolinas.
Charlotte Knights vs. Jacksonville

The Knights continue their homestand on Saturday evening. A great alternative if you're looking for something more laid-back than a stadium show. Minor league baseball, craft beer, and fireworks after the game.
Crossroads Cinema: Free Outdoor Movie

Another free outdoor movie screening at Camp North End to close out the weekend. Check Camp North End's social media for the title. Bring a blanket and enjoy a community movie night in one of Charlotte's most creative spaces. Free.
Charlotte Black Pride Week Begins

Charlotte Black Pride kicks off its annual celebration (July 12–18) with a week of events including a community festival, town hall, ball, and pageant. AC/DC at Bank of America Stadium (Saturday, July 11)
If you only do one thing this week, make it AC/DC. The Power Up Tour is one of the biggest rock shows of the year, and Bank of America Stadium is going to be absolutely electric. Fifty years of "Back in Black" energy in one of the NFL's best stadiums. This is a Charlotte event you'll be talking about for years.
Santana & The Doobie Brothers at Truliant Amphitheater (Wednesday, July 8)
Two classic acts on one stage, and lawn tickets start under $30. Wednesday night outdoor concerts at the amphitheater are peak Charlotte summer — bring a blanket, pack some snacks, and enjoy the sunset while Carlos Santana shreds. This is the most underrated show of the week.
Uptown Live Finale (Thursday, July 9)
This is the last Uptown Live of the summer, and it's free. The Thursday evening concert series at Truist Plaza has been a cornerstone of Charlotte's summer social calendar. Grab dinner at one of the nearby restaurants and walk over for live music under the lights.
