Getting there from Fort Mill
The standard route runs up I-77 into the airport corridors, roughly 20 to 25 miles and 25 to 40 minutes from most Fort Mill addresses depending on traffic. Peak weekday traffic and holiday travel can stretch that considerably, so plan to arrive at the terminal with buffer built in.
Have a backup: on severe weather days or major accident closures, west-side routes into Charlotte can be a practical alternative, so check live traffic before you leave.
Flying out of CLT
