Old Town Oktoberfest 2026 takes over Fountain Park in Rock Hill on Saturday, October 3, from 4 to 9 PM, and it is free to walk in. Expect a proper Bavarian street party: oompah brass, a beer garden, brats and pretzels, a kids zone, and the famously entertaining Wiener Dog Race on the Fountain Park stage. What makes this festival special?

This is a true gem of the old town scene: free, festive, and genuinely German in spirit. The Foothills Oompah Band keeps the plaza bouncing while families split between the kids zone and the food lines.

Oompah Brass

The Foothills Oompah Band brings the full Bavarian soundtrack to the Fountain Park stage all evening.

Beer Garden

A proper German-style beer garden sits in the plaza, with steins raised and a very cheerful crowd.

German Food

Brats, schnitzel, pretzels, and festival eats from local vendors line the food lane.

Wiener Dog Races

The dachshund dash is the headliner: check-in at 5:45 PM, racing at 6 PM at the Fountain Park stage. Costumes encouraged.

How much does it cost?

Admission is free for everyone. Beer and food are purchased from vendors inside the festival, and a lederhosen contest means you are allowed, even encouraged, to show up in full costume. Bring cash as a backup for the food trucks and beer lines.
