From the last weekend of September through Thanksgiving Eve, the Charlotte metro and the South Carolina border towns throw one festival after another: Renaissance fairs, Oktoberfests, classic car shows, carnival weekends, haunted nights, and the biggest parade in the Carolinas. I have researched every one of them, verified the 2026 dates against official pages, and collected the full calendar right here, month by month.
Fall in the Carolinas is a season you can taste, hear, and see coming. The humidity breaks, the leaves turn, and every town in the region pours its personality into a festival.
