Mint Hill Madness 2026 runs Thursday through Saturday, October 15-17, at Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park on Fairview Road, and admission is free. It is the town's biggest festival, timed to the founding of Mint Hill: carnival rides and games, fair food, live music, local vendors, and a fireworks show Saturday night. Bring the family for a full three-day run of classic carnival fun, capped by a Saturday night fireworks finale. It is free to get in, which means the budget goes to rides, food, and the kids' endless requests at the game booths.
Carnival Rides & Games
A traveling carnival sets up in the park with rides and games for every age, from gentle kid rides to bigger thrills.
Fair Food
Funnel cakes, corn dogs, lemonade, and the full county-fair food lineup.
Live Music
Local acts play across the three nights, building toward the Saturday night main stage.
Fireworks Finale
Saturday night closes with fireworks over the park, the town's big fall sky moment.
How much does it cost?
Admission to the festival is free. Carnival rides and games are purchased individually or with ride bundles from the carnival operators, and food is pay-as-you-go. Check the official Mint Hill Events page (minthillevents.org) for the 2026 vendor and ride lineup and any wristband offers.

Bring cash for the rides and games, which still run old-school for the most part.
There is also a pop-up market with 75-plus vendors earlier in the month on October 3 at the same park.
