The Carolina Renaissance Festival 2026 runs Saturdays and Sundays from October 3 through November 22 at 16445 Poplar Tent Road in Huntersville, just north of Charlotte. It is the biggest and most beloved fall fair in the region: jousting tournaments, more than 100 artisan crafters, street theater, and turkey legs the size of your forearm, all on 25 acres of festival grounds. Scheduled jousting tournaments and full-contact armored combat bracket the day in the main arena, with knights charging at full gallop.

More than 100 crafters sell hand-forged iron, blown glass, leather goods, pottery, candles, and period clothing you won't find anywhere else.

Street Theater & Music

Comedians, jugglers, minstrels, and stage shows run all day, while any walk down a lane might turn into a spontaneous performance.

How much does it cost?

Tickets are sold online in advance and are limited, so grab them early for the weekend you want. Adult tickets (13 and older) run $37.99 plus tax, children ages 5 through 12 are $23.99 plus tax, and kids 4 and under get in free. Parking is free, and the grounds are open rain or shine. October weekends fill up fast, and late-season weekends like Halloween Daze add their own costumes and themed fun.
